On 13 January 2023, Cumilla MYF protested against the violation of women and children. MYF expressed solidarity with the victims and urged the government to take strict action against this kind of heinous crime. Shahzada Sayeed Mashuk Mainuddin Al Hasani said, “Mainia Youth Forum has been taking multipurpose initiatives to resist violence against Women & children. In most cases, women are being tortured and killed due to the dowry system and child marriage. So first of all we need to eradicate the dowry system and child marriage from society. Mass awareness is much more important than law & enforcement.”
