PPE was one of the major needs to combat the global crisis. Ant the beginning there was a lack of supply of PPEs and excess demand arose as frontline fighters were helpless without the shield.
On May 14, 2020, Mohammad Aslam, general secretary of the Mainia Youth Forum, handed over Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to Dhaka Medical College and the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) on behalf of the Mainia Youth Forum. The donation of PPE aimed to support doctors, healthcare workers, administrative officers and law enforcement personnel who were at the forefront during the COVID-19 pandemic response. PPEs played a vital role in resisting the pandemic and providing adequate services to people.
