On June 4, 2022, due to a fire incident in Sitakunda Upazila of Chattogram caused by a chemical explosion, at least 400 people were badly injured and 41 died. Mainia Youth Forum participated in rescue activities. They helped affected people by taking them to Chattogram Medical College and Burn Units by Ambulance. Besides due to the huge pressure on patients, Medical authorities needed medicines from outside sources. So Mainia Youth Forum, Chattogram Metropolitan branch donated some boxes of medicines to the Chattogram Medical College & Hospital’s Burn Unit on June 9, 2022.
