A successful Women’s Health, Awareness, and Rights Program was organized under the initiative of Mainia Youth Forum in the Pubail Government Hospital in Gazipur, December 28, 2025, under the initiative of Mainia Youth Forum Gazipur District and Metropolitan Branch.
The program was attended by Mainia Youth Forum Gazipur District President Md. Junaid Siddiqui, General Secretary of Gazipur Metropolitan Branch Md. Naeem Hasan Mondal, Vice President Shariful Islam Sharif, Vice President Zahid Sarkar. Also present were Women Affairs Secretary Hafsa Akhter Himu, Katha Islam and Monira Islam Munni.Nazmun Nahar (Nipa), Family Welfare Inspector, Pubail 10 Bed Mother and Child Welfare Center, Sadar, Gazipur.Dr. Md. Selim Mia, UFPA, Kaliganj Upazila Health Complex was present as a special guest. He delivered important guiding speeches on maternal and child health, family planning and health awareness.
The organizers said that such programs will be organized regularly to increase health awareness in the society and strengthen public welfare activities.
The awareness campaign concluded successfully with the participation of around 60 women, including adolescents, students, and middle-aged professionals. Through open discussions and community engagement, the program reinforced the importance of women’s education, social dignity, economic empowerment, and equal rights.
