Mainia Youth Forum continues its commitment to environmental responsibility through impactful community service initiatives. On 8 May 2025, the organization successfully conducted a city-wide cleanup campaign in the beautiful coastal city of Cox’s Bazar, with special focus on protecting and preserving the world’s longest natural sea beach.
This initiative was organized to promote public awareness about cleanliness, environmental protection, and responsible tourism. Dedicated volunteers of Mainia Youth Forum actively participated in collecting waste and cleaning key areas of the beach, demonstrating the power of youth-led action for social and environmental change.
The local police force provided full cooperation throughout the program, ensuring smooth coordination and successful execution of the event. Their support reflected the importance of collective effort in serving both the community and nature.
This initiative also reflects the shared values of sustainability and environmental care promoted by the United Nations through global development goals focused on clean communities and climate responsibility.
We sincerely request all tourists, visitors, and organizations: whenever you visit Cox’s Bazar, let us work together to leave the beach cleaner than we found it. Protecting nature is a shared responsibility, and every small action creates lasting impact.
