A successful Women’s Health, Awareness, and Rights Program was organized under the initiative of Mainia Youth Forum in Jatrabari, Dhaka Metropolitan. The campaign was held under the guidance and instructions of the president of the organization, aiming to promote women’s rights, dignity, and education, and the benefits and harms of using sanitary pads were discussed and social awareness was raised.
Khalifa Shah Mohammad Mosharraf Hossain Maizbhandari was present as the chief guest of the program.
Special guests, Central Publicity Secretary Mohammad Zahid Hossain Shyamal and Dr. Anisur Rahman Bhuiyan and many others were present.
Many health workers gave talks at the program, and middle-aged and teenage women of different categories of the area were present.
The awareness campaign concluded successfully with the participation of around 55 women, including adolescents, students, and middle-aged professionals. Through open discussions and community engagement, the program reinforced the importance of women’s education, social dignity, economic empowerment, and equal rights.
