On 3 July 2026, Mainia Youth Forum, Comilla Metropolitan City, organized a community-wide anti-drug awareness campaign under the slogan “Say No to Drugs.” With an approximate project budget of BDT 8,000, the organization mobilized 25 volunteers and engaged approximately 150 participants in a peaceful human chain and public rally to promote a drug-free society.
The programme brought together youth volunteers, community members, religious leaders, and organizational representatives to raise awareness of the harmful effects of drug abuse and encourage responsible, healthy lifestyles. Distinguished guests, including Alhaj Shah Muhammad Alamgir Khan Al Maizbhandari, joined the campaign, demonstrating strong community support for drug prevention and youth development.
Through effective volunteer coordination and public participation, the initiative promoted civic responsibility, strengthened community engagement, and contributed to local efforts to prevent substance abuse. The project reflects Mainia Youth Forum’s ongoing commitment to empowering young people, promoting public health, and fostering safer, healthier communities through volunteer-led social action.
